Our Belhavel Gaels team put in a huge effort in the U15 Division 2 League Final in Cloone last night but ultimately fell to a 5 point loss against a physically strong Mac Cumhaills side on a scoreline of 1-12 to 1-7. The boys battled to the end and had a few breaks go against us at crucial times including losing 2 players to injury early in the 1st half which derailed the game plan somewhat. Despite this they battled hard right to the final whistle and their coaches could not be more proud of the intensity and attitude they displayed.

Having lost to Mac Cumhaills by 24 points early in the group stage of the league our boys would have been underdogs coming into the game but it just shows that the work they are putting in at training is paying off with the whole group showing massive progression which we will look to build on going into the championship later in the year.
