The Leitrim Minor team, including Ryan Kelly, Matthew Speers and Colm McLaughlin in the starting line up, almost staged a late comeback against Mayo in Pairc Sean MacDiarmeda on Friday evening. Matthew was instrumental in the 2nd half surge scoring 1-3 including a 2 pointer with his left boot but the lads were defeated in the end by 1-17 to 2-11.
